The Kiros for Congress Fellowship

This is a people-powered campaign. Join us.

The Kiros for Congress Fellowship is a hands-on organizing and leadership program for students and young people who want real experience building a people-powered political campaign.

Fellows are not observers; they are the campaign.

What You’ll Do

As a Fellow, you’ll work directly with the campaign across:

  • Field & Organizing: Phonebanking, voter outreach, and turnout

  • Communications & Digital: Creating and sharing content, storytelling, and message amplification

  • Campaign Operations: Supporting events, research, and organizing projects

  • Leadership Development: Mentorship from organizers, elected officials, and movement leaders

  • You’ll help shape the campaign and learn how modern campaigns are actually won.

Why This Fellowship Matters

This program is designed to:

  • Bring new people into politics, not just the usual insiders

  • Build organizing skills that last beyond one election

  • Expand the electorate in communities too often ignored

  • Create a pipeline of future organizers and leaders

  • No political experience required. If you care about housing, affordability, democracy, and community—you belong here.

Program Structure

  • Time Commitment: 1–2 sessions per week

  • Format: Virtual (Zoom), with optional in-person opportunities

  • Core Activities: Training + organizing action each session

  • Mentorship: Direct access to campaign staff and guest speakers

  • Fellows will also collaborate through Discord and shared campaign tools.

Who Should Apply

  • Students, young professionals, and first-time organizers

  • People passionate about progressive change

  • Anyone ready to organize, learn, and take action

  • We especially encourage applications from people historically excluded from politics.
